bottom scrape

accidentally dropped my boat off the trailer and scraped a 18inch by 10inch area at the keel by the stern. looks like the gel coat is gone but no fiberglass strands are showing. how do I repair this?

You can re-gel coat but this is a skill job.  A second option would be to sand the area with an 80 Grit sponge until smooth and then coat the bottom with a white or colored urethane Teflon.  You can find the product at www.boat-bottom-paint.com .  I would do two coats to the water line.  The color may not be an exact match but would smooth the hull again.
