hi ron
my boat sunk for 48 hrs after refloating her my outboard yamaha 8hp would not start there is no spark,i just bought the engine 3 weeks previous and it was working fine now it wont start i have replaced plugs,coils and condensers still to no avail what can i do next.

Hi Steven...Thanks for selecting the undersigned to reply to your question.

While the engine was submerged, the water prevented any oxidization from taking place. Once the engine was exposed to the air, corrosion begins. Did you remove all water from the cylinders with an air hose and spray them with say WD-40 or a similar product to help dry out any remaining moisture and lubricate the pistons, etc.? Did you check/change the oil in the event it was milky?

I recommend you not waste any more time. Get the engine to a qualified, reliable marine mechanic to troubleshoot the problem.
