Question
hello amanda, do horses develop stubbornness and vices when they grow older? i mean, i have observed old horses didnt respond to our leg cues. may i know why??

Answer
HI -- WELL WHEN THE HORSES GET OLDER THEY DO GET SET IN THEIR WAYS. ALL HORSES ARE DIFFERENT, JUST LIKE PEOPLE ARE NOT ALL ALIKE. THE OLDER HORSES MAY NEED MORE URGING TO DO THEIR JOBS. A TREAT FOR A GOOD JOB IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED BY THE HORSE.  THANKS ED HESS
