Question
hello sir, last 1 1/2 month back, one of my horses was trotting lame in the left hind. so, i put him on rest. now he is trotting sound. shall i start him with a fast gallop or a slow trot or do i need to lunge him?

Answer
HI-- WELL THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS TO HAVE YOUR VET CHECK OUT THIS HORSE TO MAKE SURE THE PROBLEM IS NOT BOTHERING THE HORSE. MAKE SURE THE HORSE IS SOUND BEFORE YOU PUT HIM BACK IN TRAINING. YOU WILL HAVE TO GO SLOW TO SEE HOW IT GOES.  THNAKS ed hess
