Question
Hi,
I have a question could you be so kind to tell me what is it call the sound at the beginning of a race (it's like a thrumphet that makes a sound that indicates that race have start?) I'll appreciate I am looking for that sound since my boss it's on horserace and I am organizing a surprise party for him & I will like to begin the day w/ that sound & I am trying to look for this on the internet.
Tks for your time & support.
Regards,
Myriam

Answer
Hi Myriam,
I know the tune you mean but cant think of the name. Actially there are several different ones used in different countries. I suggest you direct this question to the main racing clubs in the major racing countries.
You will find email address's at www.jockeysite.com
Try Churchill Downs Kentucky, The Curragh Ireland, Aintree UK, Longchamps France, Auckland RC New Zealand, Victoria RC Melbourne Australia, and whatever others you feel like.
Hope this helps and the party is a real blast!,
