Question
Hi I used to run years ago 1,500 metres was my favourite race didn't have knee problems then. But recently i tried to jog as I have a 5k charity race in July but within the first minute my right knee hurt, feels like its the knee cap I continued to jog for 20 minutes in lots of pain and then let it recover for a week, today I ran again (did half an hour warm up and warm down and stretches but again jogging hurt within a few seconds so i switched to walking fast and sprinting, sprinting doesn't hurt at all but obviously can't sprint for too long and really want to do this 5k race please help, i would like to jog after race too, Thank you
