Question
I am 27 yrs old. 50 lbs overweight. I have replaced my breakfast and lunch with 1 Slimfast shake per Breakfast & lunch and a sensible dinner. I make sure that I have smaller portions, more vegies, eat before  7pm and then I walk briskly for 1hr, completing 4 miles in the hour. What can I expect in success of weight loss & time frame for continuance of my program

Answer
Your goal should be to lose no more than 1.5 lb per week. Losing faster than that tends to not be sustainable. So you may have to adjust your eating, if you lose it too fast. It sounds like you are on the right track, but we are talking about a long-term weight-loss program to take off the 50 lb. Be patient. You not only want to take the weight off but you want to keep it off!
