2002 Grady White Gulfstream

I am considering buying a 2002 Grady White Gulfstream with a Yamaha 225 4 stroke engine.  Can you tell me if there have been problems with this engine. I believe that 2002 was the first year that it was introduced. Thanks for your advice.

No, I've not heard any negative feedback.

I'm a very strong proponent of Yamaha o/b engines, because I find them so durable and extremely reliable, so long as you look after them properly.

Go online to the US Coast Guard, and they have section for recalls and other problems concerning engines and hulls. Also, check with local marine mechanics for their experiences.
