RPM gauge on 99 Bayliner

2016/7/16 9:27:16

Question
I have a 99 Bayliner with a 125 Mercury outboard.  The RPM gauge is not working.  What can I look for to so I can fix it?
Thank you.

Answer
Hi Frank...Thank you for selecting the undersigned to respond to your question.

Check each end of the cable to ensure it is properly fastened. It's possible the cable may be broken and requires replacement. On the other hand, the gauge may be defective. I recommend you consult a qualified marine mechanic to trouble-shoot and resolve the problem for you.
