F2 Strato fin

2016/7/22 14:37:40

Question
I have an F2 Strato from the 80s which has a broken fin.  Do you know what kind of fitting it uses? Theres not a lot of information out there on it but it looks to me like a US fitting but I can't be sure since it's so old.

Thanks!

Answer
Hey Will,

It is highly likely that your board requires a US Box fin. It is also described as an A Box and Chinook box.

Here is a picture of the type that your board should use. Your broken fin should have looked like this on the part that goes into the box.

There are new fins available at many online shops but you can find used ones on ebay and craigslist.

Hope this helps.
