Triple Dead Heat 1955

2016/7/15 11:23:25

Question
Hi Ed,
I recently discovered that my father owned a racehorse named Chance Speed who was in the 1955 Triple Dead Heat at Agua Caliente on Oct 22, 1955...A week later another race was held under matched conditions with the 3 horses in the Triple Dead Heat, and Chance Speed won..Do you know of any data base or contact I could go to to try to find out when my father acquired Chance Speed and sold this horse? I would also love to see if there are any photos of my father with Chance Speed anywhere...Any information would be greatly appreciated! Kind Regards, Amy

Answer
HI -- IF YOU WOULD WRITE TO THE TRACK THAT THE HORSE RAN AT THEY MIGHT HAVE SOME OLD WIN PIC'S, BUT MOST OF THE OLDER TRACKS ARE GONE NOW. THE JOCKEY CLUB IN KY  MIGHT HAVE THE INFO YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. THE BLOOD HORSE ASSOCIATION IN KY MIGHT HAVE IT TO. THANKS ED HESS
